La Rousse Foods, official partner of the MICHELIN Guide Great Britain & Ireland 2026 Ceremony, has welcomed the announcement of this year’s awards following the landmark event at the Convention Centre Dublin, where the 2026 MICHELIN Guide selection of 1,210 recommended restaurants – including 230 starred establishments – was unveiled.
On the night, two Irish restaurants were newly awarded a MICHELIN Star, with Forest Avenue in Dublin and The Pullman in Galway recognised by the Guide’s inspectors. In addition, five restaurants across the island received Bib Gourmand awards, celebrating exceptional quality and value-led cooking.
The prestigious ceremony took place at the Convention Centre Dublin on the 9th of February, marking the first occasion since the Guide’s inception in 1974 that the awards have been hosted outside Great Britain. The event represented a significant milestone for Irish food and hospitality, reinforcing Ireland’s reputation as a world-class culinary destination and celebrating the collective achievements of chefs, restaurants, producers and distributors across the island.
