We are now inviting applications for the above position within the Commercial IT team. We are seeking an ERP IT Business Analyst to work within the Commercial IT team, with high energy and excited about working in fast paced, dynamic, digital environment.
** Please note that this role is a 2 year fixed term contract and it can be based in Cork or Dublin
What you`ll be doing
- Playing an active role in the Commercial IT focused projects throughout the lifecycle of each initiative. This includes gathering of systems requirements into detailed analysis and specifications for all relevant development and project sign-offs, managing the relationships with 3rd party service provider and End Users (our Commercial Business Unit)
- Support the delivery project and change initiatives, including working on various project streams within the Project, collaborating with 3rd Party Vendors, our peers within Commercial, the wider IT function and Business Unit Function itself
- Provide technical and business analysis for new and existing Musgrave IT systems and manage continuous improvements within same
- Work in collaboration with other Commercial IT Team functions – Engineering, Project Managers, Change/Release, Solution Architect
- Creates and executes test cases/scripts and interprets/analyses results to report, communicate, and work through issues, perform investigation and troubleshooting activities.
- Ensure delivery of solutions adhere to best practice in an optimal and flexible way to support the change initiative and business needs
- Encouraged to act in a proactive manner, challenge and be innovative in your thinking and be driven to provide value to our Business
What we`re looking for
- Strong analytical skills
- Understanding of software development lifecycle, quality assurance and information security
- Experience of requirements gathering, analysis, specification, verification and the ability to apply them in practice
- Understanding of On Premise, hybrid and private/public cloud environments
- Experience in process engineering/business analysis
- IT Orientated degree or similar
- 1 – 3 years experience in BA role or similar
- Team and collaboration orientation and good communication skills
- Understanding of Change management and transformation skills
