Musgrave - Growing Good Business

Protecting our supplier partners

Online fraud advice for Musgrave partners and suppliers

At Musgrave, we value the relationships with our suppliers and strive to do business seamlessly. We have processes and rules in place to ensure that our trading relationships are well governed and appropriately controlled. In order to supply Musgrave and/or a Musgrave retailer, suppliers must be set up on our payments system and have signed supply documentation in place.

Suppliers and partners should be aware there can be fraudulent activity by third parties pretending to represent Musgrave and we would remind you to be vigilant. Sometimes communications may reach you that appear to come from Musgrave email or website domains incorporating the word Musgrave, but which are not a Musgrave website. Our official domains are www.musgravegroup.com and www.musgrave.ie (which redirects to musgravegroup.com), and our official email addresses are those ending with @musgrave.ie.

In all cases, a member of the Musgrave Commercial team will speak to you directly before any order is placed. Typically an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) account/connection will be established before any trade is commenced, allowing both orders and invoices to pass through systematically.

A Musgrave colleague will always contact you to independently confirm bank account details.

You should not supply product to Musgrave until these steps have been completed.

We encourage all suppliers to perform their own control checks prior to establishing any trading relationship, including:

  • Independently checking email addresses to ensure they match addresses on public websites
  • Checking company website addresses used in contact/emails — ensure they match contact details of people you have dealt with in Musgrave
  • Taking a cautious approach to any communication over email solely — including accepting an order over email without direct discussion

Report suspicious activity

If you have any suspicions of a fraudulent contact, you can check/validate any third-party contact by sending details to groupmail@musgrave.ie and liaising with us so that we can notify the Gardaí.
